Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) are two most common shipping methods used in international trade to transport goods via maritime transport.
Full Container Load [FCL]
FCL refers to a shipping arrangement where an entire container is exclusively used to transport goods for one consignee. Less than Container Load [LCL]
LCL involves consolidating multiple smaller shipments from different consignees into a single container. This method is suitable for smaller quantities of goods that do not fill an entire container.
